Art Classes

Personal Art Classes and Group Classes Offered

2.5 hours of instruction at my home studio

Personal One-on-one Classes:

Personal One-on-one Classes were designed for personal one-on-one art instruction. This is perfect for the student who wants to learn something specific or simply doesn’t want to learn in a group setting.

Group Classes:

Group classes were designed for a group of several people (children and adults) wanting to partcipate in an art class together. You may only sign up for this class if you have two people or more wanting to partcipate. For example: you may purchase 6 spots at the same time for the entire group or an indvidual spot for a group class as long as the other people in your group sign up as well within 24 hours. If you are wanting to set up a group class please contact me first so I am aware of what you want to work on or if I need to help you fill the class. If we are unable to get anybody to attend with you at your time you will need to purchase a One-On-One class. I am willing to reschedule the group class if one of the parties cannot make it to the class due to illness.

General Information:

Students will be working at their own pace on individual projects unless at a workshop:

  • Acrylic
  • Glitter
  • Glue
  • Pastel
  • Charcoal
  • Pencil
  • Pen & Ink
  • Colored Pencil
  • Paper clay
  • Mixed Media
  • Collage

Students may bring your own reference material or use studio reference books or still life arrangements set up in class.

Students should keep a sketchbook or a Pinterest board to collect images they want to work on in group classes and or one on one. If the student is signed up for a workshop there will be a pre assigned project the group will be working on together. I will give individual instruction on their individual projects and customized to each students ability.  My primary goal is to have students walk away with a foundation in drawing, painting, mixed media and exercise the right side of the brain.

Supplies:

Students are encouraged but not required to bring to each class the following:

  • Sketch pad
  • Drawing pencils 4b, 6b
  • Kneaded Eraser

Students will be allowed to use studio materials as needed. A supply fee may be added at the time of use.

Personal materials are not to be left at the studio, due to limited space and possible damage.

Attendance:

If I cancel a class due to illness, vacation, or weather you will not be charged for the class. If you miss class, no refunds will be given, however you may reschedule to make up any missed class at another class time. Please text or email if you cannot make your regular class.

Class Fees:

Group classes  – 2 or more students with a maximum of 6 – $18 per class

One – On – One Classes – $25 or buy 5 for $100

Fees are paid in advance and will hold your spot. Students are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis, and class sizes are limited.

Schedule:

Please contact me at meganbaileygill@gmail.com to set up a time for the class. The schedule is flexible and I try to work with your schedule at this time.

Children’s Classes:

Parents please escort your child to and from class, to ensure their safety. All children will remain inside until you arrive, unless we are working outside on a project, in which they will be supervised at all times.
